Today, Monday 29th April the J72 "Joem" was moved by low loader from the Wensleydale Railway to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for the 40th anniversary celebrations. It will return to the Wensleydale Railway the week beginning the 13th May returning to service on Saturday the 18th May. While on the NYMR the J72 will pull Pickering to Levisham shuttles hauling the "Old Gentleman`s Coach" and also Grosmont to Goathland shuttles.
The snow plough in the background is exNER No 18 based at Bishop Auckland and now at Pickering.
