Update: Unfortunately, Joem failed its in steam insurance test on Thursday morning with a leaking tube. This means that the locomotive will not be available for the planned driver experience courses at Locomotion over the weekend, and that the the planned move to the Epping and Ongar on Tuesday has had to be postponed.

There are still a number of driver experience session places available on Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th. For more information, or to book, please ask at the Locomotion Gift Shop or call 01388 771439. Please note that you must be aged between 21 to 70 to participate in driver experience sessions.
If all the driver experience slots are not filled then the locomotive will revert to running a public passenger service.
The same weekend, 28th and 29th March, will also see the museum host the GL5 event, when the museum will be taken over by a 5" gauge live steam layout. There will be live steam shunting and demonstration trains running throughout the length of the museum; it's well worth a visit!
